Shape of objects: Could only see cluster of lights

Weather Conditions: Clear night

Description: I was sitting on my porch, on the phone with a friend, when I was looking up in the sky and thought I was witnessing a shooting star......... the light appeared brighter than usual, and more than one star.... when I realized the "shooting star" was moving up in the sky not down. The object was moving very fast, the light lasted in the sky for a brief moment similar to the time an actual shooting star would.... 2-5 seconds, maybe.
