Weather Conditions: A few clouds

Description: Sitting on my deck, I was looking north to see if the Northern lights were visible. I spotted an glowing orange globular object in the eastern sky. There was no sound. The object moved from between two clouds. It moved from east to west in about a second, then performed a right angled turn to the south. At that point I lost sight of the object behind another cloud. I went in and told my husband about it.
