Could your sighting be a UFO balloon/lantern?: No

Weather Conditions: Clear night sky. No clouds.

Description: We were driving in a southerly direction when both of us saw a large very bright green light that appeared to be falling from the sky. It almost looked like a firework but was too large. Could have been a meteor? Whatever it was it must have crashed into the ground somewhere. No idea of size.
