Thanks for the reply. I thought it was important that we post the sighting.
John, this is not the first time that we have seen this object. About 4 years ago, while walking the dogs at about 1:30 a.m. one fall morning, I had seen what I could only describe as a bright silvery sphere of light that remained static high in the sky, descended vertically, and then stopped, and zipped off to the west. I know what I saw was not a balloon, and was not a plane. The movements were just too erratic. It was also late, and I was the only one to witness it, so, I dismissed it, fearing that anyone I discussed this with would categorize me as a member of the 'tin foil helmet' crowd. ;~>
What I would like to ask you is, considering the number of postings, and their frequency, can we say that what we are seeing is clearly a spherical space vehicle 'not of this earth' which is visible to us during high altitude visits? I would also suspect that for every monitored and reported sighting, that there are many that go un noticed.
Should we be reporting these to transport Canada, or the space agency? Do they care? Or are they already logging these visits on their own?
