Weather Conditions: Clear

Description: While attending a patio party on Friday evening I was looking up at the sky. The moon had risen in the southern sky and was very bright as it was almost full. I was looking toward the north west and as the moon was so bright very few stars were visible. In my view there appeared to be two stars except the one on the left suddenly grew brighter, larger, closer and much larger brighter and closer than any thing I have ever seen. The bright star retreated as fast as it came. Approx. Five min. later it reappeared in the same fashion and I did not see it again. Most of the witnesses other than myself only saw it retreat.
