Description: I was hanging washing on the line around 10 pm – and from the corner of my eye saw a bright flash over behind the trees to the south positioned about 2 on the clock. When I looked to see what it was there was nothing there but at that point I saw the flash immediately overhead at noon on the clock and as I look up I saw it again out of the corner of my eye about 10 on the clock to the north and then it was gone. All in a few seconds. The flash was something like that you would see on a beacon or a plane flying at night except very bright. It seemed to be fairly low almost looked like it was not much above the tree line but impossible to tell and absolutely no noise. So in other words it seemed like something flew past so fast that the light flash went from one horizon to central to the other in few seconds.
