Shape of objects: Pear shaped?

On May 9th 2011 while visiting my Mother in Scarborough, Ontario I had left after dinner and stopped in the neighborhood field there.

As I was walking southward in the field having a smoke I noticed a strange white object moving straight up high in the sky ?

I instantly grabbed my camera and took two pictures at exactly 7:00pm est.

In examining these photos only the first picture captured what my eyes has witnessed. The shape of the object appears 'pear' shaped.

I have witnessed something like this kind before. Back at night back August 4th 1977 at dusk – close up.

It is amazing to what one sees if they look up more often.
