Date: It was about midnight in June, 1983 or 1984 Approach Direction: north Departure Direction: south/east/west Witness Direction: north Description: There were a few of us standing on the street in Glenella. Someone pointed out the object in the sky. It was like a falling star only bigger. When it was directly overhead, it split into 3 pieces, with the balls going at 90 degree angles .. east, west and south. Next we heard a sonic boom. I wouldn't have thought anything about it except that the breakup was so perfect and 90 degrees and we heard a bang. Color/Shape: like a falling star...
