UFO SIGHTING REPORT
WOODBRIDGE ONTARIO
August 1999
Original E-mail Sighting Form Report:
Name: Palle
Location: Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada (northerly adjacent to Toronto)
Date: August 1999, early morning [Note: Time was evening]
Approach Direction: unknown--just appeared
Departure Direction: unknown
Witness Direction: various
Description: This report is generated from conversations wtih my father.
My father was out jogging one morning through the Weston Downs
subdivisionin Woodbridge, as he usually did, early in the morning
(around 530 in the morning). [Note: The event took place in the
evening]
This particular morning was odd, as he noticed an object (which was
emitting various colours of blinking lights) about 250 metres above his
head while he was jogging. If he stopped, the object stopped moving.
If he moved, it moved with him.
Increasingly concerned, my father ran to a major street (Langstaff
Road), and the object followed him there. He quickly ran home, and the
object continued following him. Upon reaching home, he ran inside to
have someone look at the object hovering above the driveway, and when he
went back out, the object was gone.
Color/Shape: Multi-coloured lights, dark "dense" centre, no sound.
Follow-up Information from Brian Vike:
The event took place about 4 or 5 years ago and the Dad is an avid Jogger.
He lives in a residential area and one evening was out jogging when he
looked up and noticed an object which was hovering above him at
approximately 50 feet. ( In the original report the height of the object was
reported as being 250 feet above the man). The object had five white lights
and that was all he was able to see, was the five independent lights. The
fellow was not able to see any structure at all. He reports that whatever it
was would have been approximately the size of a normal American car. As he
continued on running, then coming to another complete stop, so did the
lights. There was not a sound that could be heard. Now the gentleman was
becoming very frightened and ran to a nearby major street and again stopped,
so did the lights. He stood scared and trying to attract the attention of
passing motorist by pointing at the lights, but no one stopped. He continued
running towards home which was about 10 minutes away with the lights staying
right above him. When he reached his home he ran in to tell his wife, she
came outside to view the them, but they had disappeared.
It was a nice clear summers "evening". (In the original report is was stated
as it was morning). The witness had left his home at 7:00 p.m. that night.
The total amount of time that the event lasted for was about 30 minutes.
There was no missing time to their knowledge. Again the man felt fear but no
other emotions came up that he was aware of. He did not see any airplanes or
helicopters in the area at the time of the sighting or afterwards. The five
lights were round in shape and close together. The witness also stated that
the lights were moving and the example he gave was like if you would be
using an old rotary telephone going around in the circle, or from one number
to the other. The lights were spinning slowly.
