ALLEGED UFOs REPORTED OVER PROVIDENCIA
***The phenomenon remained over the skies over the corner of 11
de septiembre and Marchant Pereira streets for several minutes
and vanished as suddenly as it appeared***
SANTIAGO, March 21.- Several unidentified flying objects were
reported at noon by dozens of persons in the commune of
Providencia, Santiago.
A group of lights hovered directly over the city, above the
intersection of 11 de septiembre and Marchant Pereira.
Various witnesses to the phenomenon made it known to [Terra.cl's
UFO channel]. According to them, the sighting involved a large
circular object of intense brilliance which was accompanied by
other, lesser objects. Some witnesses claim having seen up to
seven such objects around it.
UFO researchers received many phone calls shortly after the
event was recorded. Up to now, the authorities of the General
Office of Civil Aeronautics have not produced any explanations
for this event.
