UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Location: Inniscarra, Co. Cork, Ireland.

Date: December 24th 09

Time: Between 10.00pm - 10.30pm

Number of witnesses: 8

Number of objects: 5

Shape of objects: Circular, Orange

Weather Conditions: Clear, freezing, very little wind.

Description: My brother called the rest of the family outside as he and his friends had seen 5 circular orange lights in the sky - south west of Ballincollig/Inniscarra. When we got outside, two of the orange lights had disappeared but three remained and had moved from a 90 degree angle into a slightly lower horizontal angle. The three lights remained almost in this position moving close together and slightly up and down. The two outer orange lights then disappeared. The light in the middle remained. After about a minute the middle light faded and disappeared.

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

I had a look at the video on the sight about the UFO balloons and lanterns and what we saw was nothing like them. The objects moved too fast,were too bright and were in too much of an 'organized' formation to have been one of the balloons/lanterns. Hope that helps!
