Shape of objects: Bright orange lights

Could your sighting be a UFO balloon/lantern?: No

Weather Conditions: Clear sky, westerly wind

Description: Driving home from Cahir we saw multiple orange lights and pulled over to watch. Before we stopped we noticed some people in the garden of a house also watching these objects. They were all moving in a westerly direction and in no particular formation, although all travelling at the same speed. There was no sound. They were flying into the wind and we would guess at a height of between 700 and 1500 feet. One of the objects made a sharp, fast zig zag manouevre and then rejoined the others. We watched until they moved out of sight. We are both amateur astronomers and conclude that the objects were powered.
