Weather Conditions: Clear skies, still night

Description: I was watching tv with curtains open. Something caught my eye outside and I saw 4 red circular objects flying over the house. The first red circular object was out in front, followed by 3 circular objects in a triangular formation behind it. I went outside to establish if there was any sound (just in case it was some sort of aircraft). No sound coming from it. It didn't travel at any huge speed. The middle light in the triangular formation at the back seemed to align itself at one stage so they were all in a straight line. Don't have footage of it, but I know what I saw...would be very interested to get an explanation of this sighting. It flew on in the direction of Templeogue.
