Weather Conditions: Good

Description: I was coming from Athlone towards Glasson roughly about 10.30pm in the distance I spotted what looked like a bright star or I thought to myself the space station I passed no more remarks until I got on to the Annagh/Mullingar road again I seen the bright star as I thought to my right it seemed to follow me along the road and eventually it came over the road above the car the windscreen of my car is quiet large and looking up I could see a round looking object with some coloured lights on it to me it looked about to be about 100-200ft up then it suddenly disappeared.

I checked to see if it was the Garda helicopter and they said no this is not the first time that I have seen it on the same stretch of road at about the same time.
