Shape of objects: Round light, singular, orange

Could your sighting be a UFO balloon/lantern?: No

Weather Conditions: Perfect, calm, cloudless, almost full moon

Description: While watching the stars I noticed what I first thought were 2 planes flying side by side at an expected altitude for planes and speed but thought strange for 2 planes to be flying so close and parallel at same speed. On closer inspection we (my friend was with me) noticed they were each just a single orange light, no flashing at all, about the brightness and colour of a far off street lamp.

After watching them travel side by side for around 10-15 seconds one disappeared into nothing followed quickly by the other. We then looked to where we first saw them and there was a third, same orange light travelling at same speed and path (horizontal, not vertical) and as we expected as we watched, it disappeared at the exact same spot as the previous one.
