UFO Sighting Report - Poland

Please note that the reports in this section have been submitted to UFOINFO/UFO ROUNDUP and accepted in good faith. No investigation has been carried out by UFOINFO.

With the increasing use of digital cameras we are seeing more photos showing alleged 'UFOs' - many of these could be insects, cloud shapes etc. As many readers have asked to see the photos I will be using some of them and leaving it up to the individual to make up their own mind - John @ UFOINFO.

January 23rd 2004 : Wawelno, Opolskie


Poland: UFO taped over Wawelno [January 2004]

Wawelno [woj.Opolskie], 23/01/06 2004.

22-year-old Malgorzata Tudyka from Wawelno - a student of Opole University, preparing to her exams for a while left her books and looked by window to see a strange light outside.

UFO that she saw was about 1 m. long. There was a black point clearly visible in the frontal part of it. It was flying slowly at about 300 m. attitude [1000 f.]. There are speculations that the object filmed was a bolid or just a plane but according to information obtained from a local radio, there were other reports about unidentified lights in the area.

It wasn't the first UFO sighting in Wawelno. 20 year ago the witness' father witnessed a similar event.
