UFO Sighting Report - Poland
Please note that the reports in this section have been submitted to UFOINFO/UFO ROUNDUP and accepted in good faith. No investigation has been carried out by UFOINFO.
With the increasing use of digital cameras we are seeing more photos showing alleged 'UFOs' - many of these could be insects, cloud shapes etc. As many readers have asked to see the photos I will be using some of them and leaving it up to the individual to make up their own mind - John @ UFOINFO.
November 30th 2005 : Bialystok, Podlaskie
POLAND: UFO photographed in Bialystok [30/11/05]
Bialystok [woj.Podlaskie], November 30th 2005.
A mysterious object was seen suspended in the sky over Bialystok on November 30th 2005. It was witnessed by numerous onlookers and photographed by one of the witnesses in Piekuty Nowe.
The witness' relation:
"We were traveling by car along with my Grandfather from Bialystok toward Szepietow, passing through Lapy. We left at 3:30 pm. and after about 5 minutes while we were passing by buildings of the military unit on Kawaleryjska Street, we noticed a strange object located next to the setting Sun."
"I thought that it was a ordinary airplane but then it would turn out that it was something different. The object didn't leave an emission trail, it looked like a meteorite but was dropping down unusually slowly. It remained suspended in the sky for about half an hour and after that time I realized that it wasn't neither an airplane nor meteorite."
"I took the photo of it in Piekuty Nowe [km away from Bialystok] but I had noticed it already in Bialystok."
