UFO Sighting Report - Poland

Please note that the reports in this section have been submitted to UFOINFO/UFO ROUNDUP and accepted in good faith. No investigation has been carried out by UFOINFO.

With the increasing use of digital cameras we are seeing more photos showing alleged 'UFOs' - many of these could be insects, cloud shapes etc. As many readers have asked to see the photos I will be using some of them and leaving it up to the individual to make up their own mind - John @ UFOINFO.

POLAND: Bright UFO Hovering Just Over a Rooftop [2005]

Slaskie Wojewodztwo, late January or early February 2005, ~ 10 pm.

In early 2005, probably in late January or early February, the witness went outside at about 10 pm. to release his dog. Just after he went out, he saw some object moving up and own. At first he thought that it was a helicopter but he gave up this idea since neither engine sounds nor gush of air were noted. The object was hovering completely soundlessly.

It began hovering over a two-stored house located 200 m. away. When the witness saw the object for the first time "they were coming down, it was extremely illuminated. The craft - a giant, was suspended low over the roof. It would be possible to grasp it from there. It would cover the entire house - it was extended several meters beyond the each boundary of the house it hovered over" - he admitted.

The object was about 5 m. high and the estimated altitude it hovered over the ground was about 10 - 12 m. It was surrounded with "layer of light" and was disc-shaped. The top of the object was protruding and had a opening as if for a observational pane. As the witness admitted: "the pane was as if darkened" [the witness admitted that he would look inside of the object with a binoculars if he only had it]. The craft was intensely bright that its metallic color could be noticed. The witness stated: "It was covered with a bright cloud of light and the craft color was noticeable" [adding also: "it was entirely hidden in the bright cloud"].

In the direct vicinity of the craft "unearthly colors" appeared that were "intense". They vary from red, yellow, green and orange and were [according to the source] "indescribable". The lights were rounding him from left to right side "as if were spinning and turning on and off". They were in a shape of Fiat 126p headlights - "the lights on the object were as if turning up and down around its perimeter, changing colors very clearly and brightly". The object was "bright, silvery-metallic" and hovered over that house for about 30 minutes. The witness was fascinated that he "wasn't able to turn his sight off" the object. He was observing it alone being afraid that when he left to call his family members, the object would be gone. He also didn't approached it from the same reason.

He was simply standing on a wall by the stairway to get a better view and observed. He emphasized several times that it wasn't possible to "take the eyes off the object" and stressed his fear of loosing the object from view. He fells pity that he hadn't took a photo.

After 30 minutes long period of hovering over the house [when the multicolor lights were rotating around the object perimeter], "the bottom hatches opened and a light, as bright as the Sun, emerged [the witness compared it to turbo-engines in MIG aircrafts, although in this case the light was visible]. He added: "The light as if rose the craft up" and then the object flew at altitude about 10 m. over the ground and began slowly floating westwards, flying over nearby houses. At first, its motion was slow but then it accelerated [as the witness stated: "it went rapidly"] and departed westward with unbelievable speed. Then trail of intense light followed the object. At first its speed was low but then "a dim trail of light remained". As the witness stressed: "They cleanly and silently come and departed". The witness while asked about any sounds emitted by the craft, said: "It was completely silent, everything became calm and dogs weren't barking".

The witness' dog behaved as usual, paying almost no attention to the craft. The witness denied that the craft influenced on energetic line in the area. During the sighting the sky was bright. The witness was sober [admitting that he had encountered many other unusual phenomena]. He ascertained that he was intrigued and amazed by the object. He described it as a "extraterrestrial phenomena" being still excited with his experience, reliving it during the interview.

Some other UFO - related events involving were registered.

In 2004, probably in September, the witness went outside to admire the starry sky. It was warm and the sky was clear. When he looked up [he is a amateur skywatcher], he saw a ball flying from east toward west. The sphere then stopped and marked a triangle formation in the sky, stopping then again. After a while another one round object appeared. Then both the objects departed quickly in the West. Both objects were bright and more intense in color than stars. They were visibly spherical but the second one object was a bit less fainter and smaller than the first one. During their depart, the smaller one object was following the bigger one.

The witness also related his dreams involving UFOs and ETs that happened to him about 15 years ago. He remembered seeing landing crafts and 2 humanoidal, shadowy beings emerging from them as if via teleportation.
