UFO Sighting Report - Poland

Please note that the reports in this section have been submitted to UFOINFO/UFO ROUNDUP and accepted in good faith. No investigation has been carried out by UFOINFO.

With the increasing use of digital cameras we are seeing more photos showing alleged 'UFOs' - many of these could be insects, cloud shapes etc. As many readers have asked to see the photos I will be using some of them and leaving it up to the individual to make up their own mind - John @ UFOINFO.

Late July 2005 : Pionki area, Mazowieckie

POLAND: Cigar - shaped UFO in Pionki area [late July 2005]

Pionki area [woj.Mazowieckie], late July 2005, 1 am.

One of the witnesses, Mr. Wojciech K., stated:
"It occurred in late July 2005, at night from Sunday to Monday, about 1 am. I couldn't sleep so I went outside and suddenly; with the corner of my eye I noticed a strange, yellow light in the shy. It seemed to me that the object was cigar-shaped and was hovering in southeastern part of the sky, moving aside with pendulum-like motion. It was in size of the full Moon." His sighting lasted about 10 minutes.

The same object was allegedly seen by Mr. Wojciech mate but at Friday/Saturday night:
"The UFO was stood in the same part of the sky and was moving with strange pendulum-like motion. It didn't changed color, shining all the time in the same way. I completely don't have an idea what would it be.

Also other reports of other incidents emerged. Local woman stated:
"It was probably 3 years ago [2002], I don't remember the exact date. I was observing very strange lights that were as if rising and dropping down. In my opinion it couldn't be an airplane, since the lights behaved in very unusual way. It was very strange."
