UFO Sighting Report - Poland

POLAND: Triangular UFO photographed over Szprotawa area [18/07/06]
Szprotawa area [woj.Lubuskie], July 18th 2006, ~ 23 - 24 pm.
Reader of NPN web service, Mr. Dariusz W. from Szprotawa area in Lubuskie wojewodztwo [Western Poland], briefly but thoroughly described his sighting and sent a photo depicting a triangular craft captured near Szprotawa.
"July 18th 2006, between 11 pm. and midnight, an estate near Szprotawa. I noticed bright, lighting point in the sky, heading from south in northwestern direction. It was much bigger than a star, measuring about 3 - 4 mm at an extended arm length."
"During the flight it was swaying sideways and being almost in the zenith point, it changed the course and began dimming slowly. Its speed exceeded that of satellites [visible occasionally] 1.5 - 2 times."
The author excluded the following possibilities:
- a satellite - the triangle changed direction and was much bigger and brighter.
- an airplane - the airplane marking is quite different [red-green twinkling lights], speed was also unusual.
"I managed to took a snap and I was amazed when on the screen I saw three lights since [with naked eye] I could see only one."
"The object was seen also by my wife. Since some days I had a borrowed FUJIFILM A345 4.1MEG/PIX camera and I'm photographing the sky." - Mr. Dariusz admitted.
He also added: "I've got also 2 additional photos with an oval-shaped object, I didn't see any birds at that time, but I'm not completely certain.
Incidents involving sightings of black, triangular UFOs often take place. Most recent and spectacular sightings occurred in 2005 in area of Jedlnia Koscielna - Radom road and in Wroclaw. The former incident involves a several days long, intense manifestation of triangular, illuminated crafts. Wroclaw 2005 incident involves a single observation of a triangular UFO followed by smaller lights. Both incidents took place in July 2005.
