UFO Sighting Report - Poland

Please note that the reports in this section have been submitted to UFOINFO/UFO ROUNDUP and accepted in good faith. No investigation has been carried out by UFOINFO.

With the increasing use of digital cameras we are seeing more photos showing alleged 'UFOs' - many of these could be insects, cloud shapes etc. As many readers have asked to see the photos I will be using some of them and leaving it up to the individual to make up their own mind - John @ UFOINFO.

August 2nd 2006 : Zloczew, Lodzkie

POLAND: Cigar-shaped UFO over Zloczew [02/08/06]

Zloczew [woj.Lodzkie], August 2nd 2006, 18:20.

On August 2nd 2006, at about 6:20 pm., a white, cigar-shaped UFO craft was seen over Zloczew in Lodzkie wojewodztwo. The sighting was witnessed by 3 persons attending in a traditional pilgrimage to Jasna Gora Monastery in Czestochowa [woj.Slaskie] to pay a visit to the Black Madonna's Miraculous Image.

Alicja Rafalont stated:
"It was a cigar with round edges. We were setting up the tent and suddenly I looked up at the sky. The object already was there. Immediately I paid attention of some other pilgrims to the UFO. We were observing it for 10 minutes and then the object disappeared over the horizon. The UFO was cigar-shaped, we have seen it well and it surely wasn't any plane."

On the same day, at about 8:10 pm., another UFO was witnessed over their destination place, Czestochowa.
