Time: About 1 hour after sunset

Number of objects: 1

Shape of objects: It looked just like a bright star

Weather Conditions: Clear skies

Description: My Girlfriend pointed to a sw direction of the southern cross to show me a satellite. but it was much brighter than a satellite. it moved in a horizontal line towards the east ( underneath the southern cross ). When it reached the east it started to slow down and then it started to descend slowly. it eventually came to a halt and after that the light started to dim until we could not see it anymore.
