Description: V-formation of 5 objects brightly lit discs moving at high speed. (Speed could not be determined without knowing the altitude). After sighting them at first I jumped from under the varanda to look up in the sky at them. When they were about 45 degrees over me to the South the leading craft or object stopped dead still whilst the others moved on, for about 10 seconds. When it spead away and took its place again at the front of the formation. They then totally vanished from view in another five or ten seconds.
Color/Shape: Bright discs (brightly lit)
Height: estimated height 10 000 feet
Speed: plus/minus 6 - 700 kilometres p.h.
Departure : as above
TV/Radio/Press: None reported. I phoned the dept. of civil aviation and they said they knew nothing about it.
