UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Date: 01-01-2007 between 07.15pm & 07.30pm local time

Approach Direction: Southeast

Departure Direction: Could not figure departure as it was cloudy

Witness Direction: South

Description: Myself and wife we out on our usual evening walk. It was a chilly evening. Sky was scattered with white clouds. I have a habit of looking into the skies and often look at the stars. That evening I saw this multicoloured (yellow & green lights) I first mistook it for a helicopter or a plane. I then fixed my glance and asked my wIfe are you able to see the object that I am seeing in the sky. She said "yes" and then both of us looked up. The object was moving at a rapid speed between south and southeast it was hovering at around probably 10k feet to 15k feet. As we kept on talking it made a dive towards us and suddenly we were shocked to see its belly similar to the bottom of a dinner plate, but the lights were not visible at that point of time. The total hovering time was about 20 mnts. I then called up my friend who lives in Sharjah and he also claimed to see the ufo but of course he was much further than we were.

Color/Shape: Colour could not identify. Lights were green and yellow moving in a spherical movement.

Height & Speed: 10000 ft to 15000 from south to southeast
