I took a couple of photos of something hovering over the approach to Gatwick airport, England, earlier this week. It looks like a telegraph pole hovering in the sky. I took 3 pictures of it. Don't know who to contact about it but I found your web site via Google. Are you interested in the pictures?

Hi Brian,

I've attached a couple of cropped images of the object which I saw over the approach to Gatwick Airport in England on Sunday 26th June 2004. I was driving into the airport when I saw the object hanging in the sky. I was in traffic so I couldn't hang around but I managed to take a couple of shots with my digital camera which was in the car.

For your information,

Object_1.jpg has been reduced in size and I've added some 'unsharp mask' for clarity the object, which looks like a telephone pole is hanging just above the cars in this photo.

Object_2.jpg has been cropped from the original but the image is actual size from the camera. I've left the bushes in the photo for scale.

There was a strong westerly wind blowing that day, around 20-25 knots but the object didn't appear to be drifting. If anything it seemed to be gaining height vertically but remained in the same position over the ground. I couldn't stop to see what happened next as I was holding up the traffic and was getting abuse from other drivers so I had to move on.

I'd be interested to know if you've seen anything like this before.
