UFO SIGHTING REPORT

Original Sighting Form Report:
Name: Nick J.
Location: My girlfriends mothers' back garden in st Helier, Jersey, Channel islands.
Date: Monday 19 July, between 1.00am and 1.30am

Description: There were three of us talking in the garden. My girlfriend, her brother and myself. We were talking about stars and how I had chosen one for my mother who died 6 years ago. I looked up to see if I could see the star and i saw the object. It was v shaped with three lights on each side leading to a singular light at the point. None of the lights were flashing. This object made no noise whatsoever and in my opinion was quite low, Approx 300-400ft. There was no cloud in the sky that night and there is no light polution at the location.
Color/Shape: I could only see a stip of white lights on each side of what seemed like a flying letter V
Height & Speed: 300-400ft travelling very slowly for approx 40 seconds then just faded away. By this i mean that the lights just faded like lights do when you have a dimmer switch. The Object did not move out of our line of sight.
Follow-up Information from Brian Vike:
No, The weather had been calm all day. It had been really warm the later
part of the day. No adverse weather conditions at all.
It was at a 45 degree angle from the ground. The direction
(north,east,south,west) of the object is not known. The object when first
seen was roughly at the start of the house, then moved slowly to roughly the
end of the hose. It then faded away like a dimmer switch would turn of your
lights in the house. Again, I will say that there were no clouds in the sky
and there was absolutely no light pollution.
The only landing strip nearby is Jersey Airport and on a small island the
airport is never going to be that far away. The lights were not flashing and
that suggests to me that this sighting was not a conventional aircraft.
Did you happen to notice any aircraft in the area before, during or right
after the sighting ? None at all. This is definitely not a flight path.
My girlfriend and her brothers experience is exactly the same as mine. We
observed the object and talked about the same things after the experience.
We agreed that what we had seen was the same as everybody else's experience.
Please let me know if anybody else had seen this phenomenon and please keep
me informed on any other similar sightings.
