UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Location: maltby rotherham south yorkshire

Date: not sure on day but think it was in august, 2005

Approach Direction: south east

Departure Direction: dont know

Witness Direction: south

Description: woke up around 3am and looked through my bedroom window and saw what i thought was a very bright star then realised it was to low and to big to be a star. It didn't move and it didn't twinkle it just shone very brightly. So I woke my oldest son up to come and look at it and when we got back to my window it had gone. That's the second time I've seen something odd in the sky and the second time I got a witness and it had gone, every one in my family think I'm bonkers.

Color/Shape: like a star but it looked like a football compared to the stars.

Height & Speed: it looked from my window like it was just above the houses about 1 quarter a mile away but would have been much higer. and it just stayed in the same place I only looked for about 2mins.

TV/Radio/Press: no it wasn't reported.
