UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire, UK

Date: 08/21/05 6.35 pm british summer time

Approach Direction: travelling from south

Departure Direction: heading north

Witness Direction: south east

Description: On a relatively clear summers evening I looked up and saw a black object that was constantly changing shape. It appeared to be flipping over itself. It seemed to be high up and travelling slowly. I was not able to tell how large or how small the object was. There was no noise. I went indoors and got some binoculars and when I went back outside, I managed to find the object as it hadn't moved that much in the sky. It wasn't easy to focus on the object as my hands were shaking. It wasn't round or cylindrical in shape but probably more triangular. I followed the object for about 5 - 8 minutes and in that time it flashed a bright light a couple of times, although this could probably have been a reflection of the sun.

Color/Shape: Black, triangular, silent and shape turning, though this could be caused by the object turning, I suppose.

Height & Speed: Unable to estimate as it was a relatively clear sky and had nothing to compare it to.
