UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Location: Roneo Corner Romford Essex UK

Date: 04/09/05 20:15 DST (U.K)

Approach Direction: from east

Departure Direction: to west

Witness Direction: above while chasing object in car

Description: I was driving with my friends north on Upper Rainham Road when almost above i could see an object that made me say to the others what the heck is that? it looked like something that was burning constantly and travelling quite quickly but nowhere fast enough for a meteor but seemingly too fast for a hotair balloon (thats if anyone would be daft enough to fly a balloon in pitch black night). as i chased it down to Rush Green this thing had gained altitude at an alarming rate until after we stopped for a clearer view we saw it until it got too high for us to see.

Color/Shape: orange fire with no particular shape constant burning unlike the puffing of extra flame you would get from a hot air balloon, slowly getting smaller as it got higher before appearing star like when we lost sight of it

Height & Speed: not sure on the height but a good way up to infinity, as for speed it moved quite slowly enough to keep sight of it in the car.
