UFOINFO Sighting Form Report
Location: Glasgow (South)
Scotland
Date: 20th November 2005
Approach Direction: From the west
Departure Direction: Steady quickly accross the sky, too fast to be a plane, dissapearing into low level cloud to the west 1-2000ft
Witness Direction: South
Description: I was in the back garden looking at the stars. There was a light in the sky that caught my eye. At first i thought it was a shooting star (I was turning my head away from the sky at that point), I took a second look, I then focussed, surprised that it was still in sight after a half second. I focused on it and saw it had three amber lights in a triangle with a fourth centrally. The sky was mostly clear though there had been cloud through the day at arround 2 to 5000 feet. It was difficult to tell the distance and size of the object and therefore how fast it was travelling but it travelled across the sky from 2 o'clock to 10 o'clock in about 1.5 seconds - far too fast for a plane and silently. As it went into the distance it dissapeared into the cloud (fairly low level) As it travelled across the sky it did not have a front or rear but seemed to rotate slightly as it drifted across the sky.
Color/Shape: Amber lights in a triangle with one centrally
Height & Speed: 2000 to 5000 feet continuous
TV/Radio/Press: n/a
