UFOINFO Sighting Form Report
Location: Tooting SW London - Has anyone else reported seeing UFO's flying over Tooting/ Mitcham last night.
Date: Wed, 15th Feb 2006
Approach Direction: ?
Departure Direction: ?
Witness Direction: I was in Tooting SW London
Description: I was driving home through Tooting on my way to Micham from work at 8.40pm last night (15th Feb) when I saw 2 lights which I thought were 2 Aeroplanes flying dangerously close together along the same flight path. The second one started to catch up on the first and I though there could be a mid air collision. Then a third light appeared and flew along side them. They all flew together for a few minutes and every so often one would disappear for a couple of seconds and then re appear again. Then they flew closer to each other and appeared to hoover for a while and then all of a sudden they all shot off in different directions. I pulled over to try to take a photo with my camera phone but it was dark and I couldn't as the street lightings glare filled the screen.
Please! let me know if anyone else has reported seeing similar last night, I've never seen anything like this before.
Color/Shape: Very Bright/ white lights
Height & Speed: Approx same height as an aeroplane would be
TV/Radio/Press: I've e-mailed my local paper (Guardian)
Follow-up information from Brian Vike:
Hi Brian,
Thank you for your interest. I will attempt to answer your queries as best I can. I'm not very good with directions and I haven't got a compass but I'll use the northern line tube/ underground system as a guide, so assuming that North is towards Clapham and South is towards Collierswood.......
The lights were traveling in a North Easterly direction and comming from the Southwest.
Weatherwise there was light drizzley rain, it was dark and cloudy and there was a fairly full looking moon (which was partialy covered by dark cloud).
I didn't see any other aircraft nearby before or after the sighting.
The lights did not blink but they did take it in turns to dissapear for a few seconds at a time and then reappear again.
I did not see an outline of anything, the 3 lights seemed independent of each other and traveled at slightly different speeds although once they came close to each other they were all doing the same kind of speed, they then slowed down and then split up and flew off in 3 different directions but in the same general direction.
The whole thing (from spotting the second light catch up on the first, to the 3 lights shoot off in different directions) lasted approx 5 minutes.
The 3 lights were round and bright white, The first 2 approx the same size but the third was slightly smaller. They were all at the same height roughtly at a height I would expect an aeroplane to be. Certainly not higher and maybe lower, but it's hard to estimate in the dark without other planes to use as a guide.
The area I saw the 3 lights is about 45 mins drive by car from Gatwick Airport. I see aeroplanes all the time in the sky above but they usualy have an additional red light in the dark. The 3 lights I saw were pure white.
There was no sound at all, I got out of the car and switched off my engine and there was no other traffic as it was a side street. (There is an aeroplane going overhead now and I type its quite clearly making a loud noise)
I've answered all your questions as best I can, I hope it helps. please let me know if you have any further questions. I would love to know if anyone else reported seeing anything that night and also if you think there is a simple explanation for what I saw.
Thank you

| SynchroFile : Amazing Personal Encounters With Synchronicity And Other Strange Phenomena - Raymond E. Fowler The author is no stranger to tackling mysteries. He is internationally known as a highly competent investigator of the paranormal and a trustworthy chronicler of such in ten books. The New York Times exclaimed that his best-selling book, The Andreasson Affair, 'if true, must rank with the great classics of scientific revelation.' Air Force chief UFO scientific consultant, Dr. J. Allen Hynek wrote that his UFO investigations are 'meticulous' and 'far exceed' that of the government.
In SynchroFile, Fowler applies the same kind of meticulous research into the supernatural-like synchronistic experiences that permeate his life. This book compiles the results of his research into Jungian psychology, the New Physics and his study of a ten-year diary of personal and family experiences of amazing coincidences and paranormal experiences. His research leads to the incredulous conclusion that time is an illusion and that reports of synchronicity, ghosts, out of the body experiences, near death experiences, UFOs, precognition, telepathy, and other extrasensory experiences are all individual expressions of one intelligent-like meta-phenomenon. |
