UFO Sighting Report - United Kingdom

Please note that the reports in this section have been submitted to UFOINFO/UFO ROUNDUP and accepted in good faith. No investigation has been carried out by UFOINFO.

With the increasing use of digital cameras we are seeing more photos showing alleged 'UFOs' - many of these could be insects, cloud shapes etc. As many readers have asked to see the photos I will be using some of them and leaving it up to the individual to make up their own mind - John @ UFOINFO.

UFOINFO E-mail Report

Hi John, I've always had a fascination in UFO's as there was many a report around this area in the sixties until well into the eighties. Sometime between 1972 and 1974 when I would have been between 12 and 14, I was playing in the garden with my best friend when three flying saucers in formation flew over us about 50 - 60 feet above the ground just a few feet above the chimney tops. They were completely silent, about 60 - 80 feet in circumference. We were not scared but amazed, the speed I'd put at a steady run and were heading towards Crawley or Gatwick. There must have been many sightings as it took place mid - afternoon.

[I have suggested the witness tries the newspaper section of the British Libray but if anyone has details of the above sighting please contact me and I will pass the details on - John @ UFOINFO.]

Now up to date, my wife had a BBQ on Sunday 27th of August as we couldn't have one on her birthday 23rd because of the rain, the evening went well but I had work the next day so I left just before eleven. Just as i was dropping off, my phone went, then again when I didn't answer as I thought it would be one of my eldest son's drunken friends wanting to know where he was.

On Monday when I got back to her house after work to see my two youngest, they all told me of what they had seen. I was amazed at what they had to say. My eight year old was laying on the garden bench with his head on my wife's lap at about 11.30pm and said what's that mum, there was five left in the garden and they all saw it.

There was a bright white light high in the sky but as they were watching they noticed another two a few miles to the left which would have been roughly over Forest Row. One of the two had half a dozen or more not so bright objects buzzing around underneath it, (like bees around a hive all going in different directions, round 'n' round in 'n' out of each other). They went to a neighbours house as there was a party going on and nine people came out and saw this as well. After about an hour of first noticing this, the objects moved into the bright light and both lights whizzed very quickly over to the first bright light, after about a minute all three lights shot off at great speed not to be seen again.

This is as accurate as I can remember being told and I believe every word.
