UFO Sighting Report - United Kingdom
Please note that the reports in this section have been submitted to UFOINFO/UFO ROUNDUP and accepted in good faith. No investigation has been carried out by UFOINFO.
With the increasing use of digital cameras we are seeing more photos showing alleged 'UFOs' - many of these could be insects, cloud shapes etc. As many readers have asked to see the photos I will be using some of them and leaving it up to the individual to make up their own mind - John @ UFOINFO.

UFOINFO Sighting Form Report
Location: Long Eaton, Nottingham, United Kingdom
Date: 09/30/06 Approx 10:15pm GMT
Approach Direction: Travelling North
Departure Direction: Travelling North
Witness Direction: 5 Witnesses Facing North
Description: I was sat in my car on my street, facing roughly North, when out of the corner of my eye to my right hand side, both myself and my friend in the car saw an orangy/red spherical shaped object travelling at high speed in a northbound direction. It appeared from behind a patch of dence cloud. It travelled what appeared to be a few hundred metres accross the sky at high speed then slowed down to an almost stop. It hovered in a static position for around 1 minute (at this point i rang my girlfriend to come out of her house to see)She came out of the house with 2 other family members and they all witnessed this strange light. After hovering, the light slowly started to move northwards again but at the same time it began to travel straight up higher into the sky. As the object gained height it looked as if the light started to fade out and decreased in size to totally dissappear after 2-3 minutes. The whole sighting lasted roughly 5 minutes.
Color/Shape: The object was roughly the size of a 5 pence coin from ground perspective and had an extremely bright orangy/red and sometimes yellow glow. The object was spherical in shape. No other light was given off from the object nor was any sound. It was totally silent.
Height & Speed: 1000ft approx, approached from south, travelled in a northbound direction, then gained height.
