August 10th 2007 : Bourne, Lincolnshire, England


UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Location: back garden in Bourne Lincs

Date: Friday 8/10/2007 10.45pm

Approach Direction: south

Departure Direction: north

Witness Direction: west

Description: two bright orange lights one following the exact flight path of the other, no sound,glided across sky and then faded out, thought they were stars till we realised there was two of them and they were moving, plus they were far to bright to be stars.

Color/Shape: bright orange, round lights.

Height & Speed: they were about cloud height no higher, no idea on speed but no particularly fast, plenty time to see them.

UFOINFO Note: I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

I have studied the web site on ufo balloons and these do not appear to be what we seen, these lights acted more like a flying craft, they were also a lot brighter and larger. We felt we were witnessing something that is not an every day occurance. They weren't as high as I originally thought, as my husband said aircraft would be higher. The first light was about five seconds in front of the other one and we watched them for about a minute as they crossed the sky. We are waiting till our local paper comes out on friday to see if anybody else witnessed them.
