Hi John,

Like most of the recent submissions you have received from the UK, we too have seen what they have described.

We saw them at approximately 22:30 on Saturday 15 September in Wonersh, Guildford, Surrey travelling from ESE and then WSW. There were first about 8 in the string which were almost travelling in pairs, followed by a single one and then another string about the same length, again followed by a single one which made it look like a triangle.

Our first thoughts were that they were too bright to be stars (and of course were moving) and certainly were not aircraft as there were no flashing lights and no noise and that they moved like hot air balloons – not very high or fast. We have been completely intrigued and after coming across your site and clicking on the link to UFO balloons I am pretty certain this is what we saw.

I feel pretty special about seeing them - hoax or no hoax – it was a lovely experience!
