Weather Conditions: Clear

Description: After leaving a New Year’s Eve party, I was walking in the middle of Sleaford street in Cambridge, just before the Geldart pub and noticed three orange lights in the sky, in a triangle formation… They were moving at speed, no noise could be heard, I was not drunk, and have several witnesses. I even called the friend was had hosted the party, and he came to have a look, and arrived when only two lights were visible. By that time they had changed their angle/direction slightly.

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Thanks for your email.

I would not be able to say for sure that it is not UFO balloons I saw, but the fact that they were "flying" in such a perfect triangle formation, then changed their angle at once makes me think that it would be a very very lucky event for three independently flying chinese lanterns to follow each other so precisely.
