Description: We had stepped outside for a cigarette just after new years eve and saw a strange circular bright orange light and moving fairly quickly. There was no sound from it. a friend tried to film it on his phone, but it didnt show up on his camera when we looked back at it.

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Hi John,

I've looked at the footage but I believe it was far too high and fairly large for an object that far away.

We first thought it was a plane, but realised that we had never seen a plane like that, orange, circular type shape and moving quite fast.

Of course I can't say for sure. But only give you the information of what we had seen.
