Location: Dittisham, Nr Dartmouth, Devon, UK.

Time: Roughly 11pm (give or take 20mins)
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Large green meteorite like object with green tail.
Weather Conditions: Clear
Description: Was sitting with my back facing window of the Ferry Boat Inn, Dittisham, which overlooks the River Dart. I was having a pint with my Father. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a bright flash of green light. With an instinctive exclamation 'what the f*ck is that?!', I turned round just in time to see a very fast, large, bright green object flying through the sky with a bright green tail/trail. The object flew dead straight and it came from the south-east. It disappeared after about 1 or 1.5 seconds. I presumed it was some kind of meteorite burning low down in the earth's atmosphere, but such was its size, and the intensity of the green light that I almost expected it to be followed by some kind of explosion.
My father also saw the object out of the corner of his eye, but didn't get as good a look as I did. I posted this report after my father forwarded me the following link to this site:

I was amazed to see that someone had a strikingly similar siting.
