Description: looking out of window awaiting daughters return, towards north from nowhere really bright light appeared quite low. It stopped for about 10 seconds then at phenominal speed sped southwards this took about 2 seconds but had covered a fair distance. It stopped again about 10seconds! then literally disappeared. I am so convinced it was something strange so I checked time and clouds etc. My home backs onto a school playground where they have a N.S.E.W arrow painted on the ground so I am certain of directions.
