Description: After hearing what sounded like a low pitched, high flying jet, we looked up to to see what we originally thought to be an aircraft on fire. It was moving in a West - East direction and seemed to be moving faster than a commercial airliner. It moved quickly away from us without a contrail and it appeared to remain at the same height. It appeared as a small bright light in the far distance and then suddenly disappeared. We took a seconds of video on a mobile phone but this gave a very pixelated image.
