Location: Hawk Green, Marple, Stockport

Date: 24th August 2008

Time: 9pm

Number of witnesses: 20-30

Number of objects: 4

Shape of objects: circular

Weather Conditions: broken cloud

Description: I'd just come back from playing cricket and arrived back at Hawk Green Cricket club to find numerous people looking up into the sky, to my amazement 3 small circular and bright orange in colour were moving across the night sky in a horizontal formation, they then changed into a triangular formation then back to horizontal and so on, until one by one slowly dispersing into the clouds, to our excitement it was followed by another odject a few momenets later but only one this time to which I have video footage on my mobile phone.

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Hi yeah I've checked out that video, it is a possibility it was them balloons I can try and post the video I've got to u and see for yourself, what I saw actually seemed bigger but I could be wrong, it definately was no plane.
