Weather Conditions: Totally clear, stary night.
Description: Standing in a very dark field whilst bringing a horse in, I noticed an incredibly fast moving (spherical) bright white object in the sky. It was moving west to east, at what looked like an altitude of less than 30000ft.(ie Airliner altitude).
As it disappeared in the eastern sky, there was what I can only describe as a white circular shock wave, which spread across the whole eastern sky. There was no noise.
It did not look like any shooting star which I have seen previously, and did not look like an object burning up. It could not have been man made, as it's velocity was too great.
