Shape of objects: Orange Orb

Weather Conditions: Very clear and turning frosty

Description: We were driving towards the local Asda store, when we briefly saw an orange orb flying towards us. It was heading on a southerly path and probably as low as an aeroplane on approach (if not lower). It looked as though it was pulsating, but it could also have been these lanterns that seem to be everywhere these days. I have witnessed these orbs before (10/12/08) and they are very puzzling. We lost sight of it as it passed over thick trees and I was trying to keep my eyes on the road. I am sure other people have witnessed these orbs as they are quite low in the sky.
