Description: I was working a night shift and we saw 3 bright orange lights flashing and the sky,but they were appearing to change colour between red, green and white when stationary. As we watched them they were moving around then 2 of them got closer together and one passed over the other flew some distance apart then followed the same path back. As it flew in the opposite direction passed the one it flew over the other followed the same path as the other it went on for about 40 min then they disappeared.

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Hi there, I looked into that earlier as I was quite disturbed by what we witnessed and I can rule out that possibility. We sat for the remaining shift trying to work out what we had seen. One of my colleges that also witnessed it is what I call a space freak. He spends many nights on his telescope looking at planets and has a wide knowledge of the planets, stars and the universe. He was so excited (like a child at Christmas) and he said he has never seen anything like it.

Last night was so clear the stars were beautiful, we ruled out most possibilities as in a 12 hour night shift we can see for miles and almost every night witness and hear helicopters and air traffic in our area. At first we thought that they could be helicopters but they were the wrong colour and there was no noise, the night was silent, and they were flying too close together. I have refused to believe in the past that they may be intelligent life out there but also know that it is ignorant of me to think that in the entire universe we are alone. Maybe it is just fear of the unknown. Regards.
