Number of witnesses: Two

Number of objects: One

Shape of objects: Slightly oblong

Weather Conditions: Cold and clear

Description: Very bright white object, totally silent, travelling very fast in eastern sky from south to north [Swindon to Cheltenham direction] over South Cerney Airfield. When the object left the area of the airfield it completely disappeared behind some trees but never re-appeared.

An identical sighting was seen by one person at approx 3.a.m travelling north to south right across the eastern sky without disappearing in mid January 2009.
