Weather Conditions: Partly cloudy dry night

Description: This happen on 2 nights the first I thought was a shooting star but was much 2 bright just like looking at the street light no sound and it was gone in a sec straight over the house's the 2nd was the night after on the 7th Feb 2009 same time 18.30 this one was static in the air over the top of the A62 towards Oldham only lasted for a few sec's then dimmed came back bright like a light house on a misty night, passed by a plane then dulled again and disappeared.
