Description: I looked SE out of our bedroom window (Postcode removed)as usual as I went to bed. A bright light larger than Venus was travelling at a steady speed from West to East at approx 45 degrees above the horizon in the direction of RAF Fylingdales. I grabbed my 10 x 50 binoculars and focussed on it. It was a single light without the usual flashing lights of the numerous aircraft that fly over here. Suddenly it disappeared. I lowered my binoculars and confirmed that it had disappeared 3/4 across the sky despite the whole sky being crystal clear.
