Weather Conditions: Exceptionally hot throughout day

Description: Perfectly clear and warm night, atmosphere calm & unusually quiet, in twilight - while having just lit a cigarette I looked up into the sky as almost I always do - when infront of me I was immediately (sorry...suddenly) aware of two intensely bright yellow perfectly spherical objects propelling through the sky both a color that can only be described as that emitted from a bunsen burner - both identical in shape and size - they were very pronounce in the night sky - very noticeable.

I witnessed these from approx. 1.5 - 2 miles distance from where I was standing - I estimate that they were at least 100 to 150 feet above the immediate topography, they iminated into view from just beneath the moon at least this is my perspective as to where they were in relation to their position in the sky - they maintained a vector in my direction for a period of 2-3 seconds and from there appeared to selectively drop altitude and simultaneously banked to my right continuing a course aprox. 30deg off-parallel away from my view for about 1/2 mile (10 seconds) drifting slowly away when both in rapid succession diminished of their bright yellow color so much to reveal a dark trace or a core object (shape I cannot detail as it was silhouetted) behind & thereafter both drifted silently off out of sight.

I did muster to give chase but by the time I came to that realisation & I guess due to their now unobtrusiveness I just lost their exact point in the sky. Absolutely unforgettable - I only wish there had been someone that could have shared the experience.
