Weather Conditions: Dry, calm, mild

Description: Very bright golden round object - about half the diameter of a full moon as seen from earth. Travelling fast and silently and straight from west to east across North London. Lower than a plane would travel except when landing. We were on a balcony on the third floor of a tall house in Chalk Farm with good view south across all of London. It emerged from behind trees to our right,passed between us and the Post Office Tower and continued till out of sight on our left (east). Although moving quickly, it was not blurred and we had plenty of time to observe it clearly - probably between 20 and 30 seconds in view.

TV/Radio: Have seen no reports of anything similar. It seems impossible that no one else should have noticed it.
