Description: I too saw two bright red lights appear out of nowhere. Newport South Wales on August 8th at around 22:45. They just appeared out of nowhere hovering at one point and then travelling parallel to each other. I thought they were police helicopters but thought it unusual because of the unusual bright red lights.

They travelled slowly together for a while and then one of them disappeared and the other just shot off at very high speed in a easterly direction.
